Absolutely right, Google has update the pagerank yesterday or two days ago if i’m not wrong. How do i know this update? Because this website now is on pagerank 3 and two/three days ago is still on pagerank 1 at Google.

Is Google Pagerank important for a website?

Many webmasters said that Google Pagerank is not important anymore but the others still believe if Google Pagerank is important. Well, it depends on how you describe their pagerank system. So here is a great article about Google Pagerank explained at here or here for you.

My answer is?

Yes, Google Pagerank is still important to me since it can helps me on many activity that related to Google or another companies that using Google Pagerank for their measurement about a website.

But not really important since the effect is only at Google search engine not all search engine because i’m sure if the Google search engine competitor is using their own system to calculate a websites. And also don’t forget about Alexa Traffic Rank.

It’s mean, everything is important for a website so we need to optimize all things on our website to get the best. By the way, i believe if the content is a king!
