Here comes another alternative to sIFR called Cufón which aims to become a worthy alternative to sIFR and which despite its merits still remains painfully tricky to set up and use. It contains a font generator, which converts fonts to a proprietary format and a rendering engine written in JavaScript.
Cufón is already tested with IE 6/7/8, Firefox 1.5+, Safari 3+, Opera 9.5+, and Google Chrome. Here is a demo page for you with some font samples to see how the font rendering so fast.
Why i type a title like that? Of course i have to because i got a small problem with some of WordPress core files. Someone has changed my adsense code with a clean way, using same channel name and similar color to mine. Here is the chronology.
This problem happen on January this year to all of my blogs, so he/she got all my earning (not too much i think). I never knew it until i thought it’s so weird if my earning falling down suddenly. That’s why i change the color schemes to make a test but my ads color still not change after one day, so i check all my source code and found my adsense publisher id is gone and changed to other pub id!
On that time i don’t know what happen, so i just change my pub id back and blogging like usually. FYI, this problem happen 3 or 4 times until yesterday with same pub id. I still don’t know what happen so i read all my website access log to find some clue. From the log i know if he/she modify my adsense code via theme-editor.php, that is a WordPress core file to modify themes from admin panel.
I don’t know how he/she can access it and i hope WordPress themes can fix it. By the way here is some great tips from uncle Google to prevent this problem happen to your blog. Read the rest of this entry »
Last year, i’ve already talk about jTPS which is a jQuery plugin that provides a sort function and pagination to your data table on the fly. And now here is another javascript table sorter that has a similar features but with lightweight filesize (only 2.5 KB!) and it’s standalone. The name of this standalone script is TinyTable.
Featuring a column highlighting, optional pagination, support for links, and date/link parsing. A few other features are alternate row highlighting, header class toggling, auto data type recognition and selective column sorting. Simply insert a small code on the header and your data table is ready to go.
Download are available for free without any charge even for commercial usage. Already been tested on Firefox 2/3, IE 6/7/8, Opera, Safari and Chrome. Watch the demo from this page. Two thumbs up for the author from me!
