There is many competitors on the net for URL shortening service but ZipMyUrl give us a new style for their service. First, their design looks great and i like the color scheme. Second, an ability to zip multiple URLs at once. Third, password security system for the links.

And the last one if you choose to sign up with them (optional), you can publish your urls directly to Twitter or delicious. Just remember, most newer zips are display on homepage unless you choose to make your zip privately when zipping.

Compared with others, ZipMyUrl has missed one great feature to make a custom (personalize) URL. But overall, i like their service (two thumbs up from me). Cheers..

Dave Shanley the author of ZipMyUrl has contact me today. He said that personalize URL feature has been added into ZipMyUrl. Now it’s complete and i appreciate him for hearing a feedback from users (only one day after i write this post).
